Soups On! Fun and Food to Raise the Spirits of our Warriors
Since it is November and the holidays are beginning, homemade soups were on the menu. We’ve been having some rainy days and it would be a welcome comfort for the soldiers who are away from home. In California style, the weather was gorgeous so we decided to move the venue out doors.
Just look at the Autumn leaves and the air was crisp yet warm.

Pumpkin and Apple pies made from scratch by a Veteran Marine who’s son is over in Iraq. Let me tell you… these pies were the best! Real, honest to goodness flavor. The apple pies went quick.

Vote for VFW in Pepsi Refresh Return the Favor
VFW is trying to secure a 250k grant from Pepsi. We almost got it last month. If possible please go to http://www.refresheverything.com/ReturnTheFavor and vote for the VFW. We could do so much for our troops with that money.

You be the star!
Karaoke! Where YOU are the star!
Saturday Nights
7:30 PM – 12:00 AM (If you tip the KJ well, she might stay a little later!)
Come on out to the Canteen where the drinks are still affordable! Grab a brew and sing a few! Karaoke is every Saturday night. Even if you don’t like to sing in public (we know you sing in the shower) you can enjoy the good singers and good music while relaxing with a nice cold one. There’s always people dancing and having a great time! It’s a lot of fun!!!
Visit KMKaraoke.com for more information on hiring a KJ or DJ for your next event.
